DAPOWARE Paperweight: Samosa
Deriving from the Persian word ‘sanbosag’ to mean a fried or baked pastry with a savoury filling
The first generation of SAMOSA collection began as a piece of offcut from our PEGA boards and has grown to be a signature item in our homeware collection. The name was inspired by the wood’s triangular shape when processed as an offcut, and pays homage to ethnic delicacies which have become a staple in modern Malaysian cuisine.
Coated with a natural blend of coconut oil and beeswax, this unique item is a unique example of how we at Dapo manage our wood residue.
